Clothespin comes from the heart of its designer Gale Parker. After having worked in the fashion industry for over 30 years, Gale wanted to create a “green” collection of clothing for women of all ages that would be feminine, flattering, and fun. Her inspiration comes from the never before worn pieces of vintage rayon fabric adorned with vintage French, beads, buttons and lace.

Having worked as a muse for Yves St. Laurent and Valentino in Europe, Gale’s career then returned her to her roots in New York City where she worked for Halston before becoming a fashion editor at “Vogue”. After working as a costume designer in Los Angeles for a few years, Gale moved back to New York where she was Design Director for Ralph Lauren’s Women’s Collection for many years.

Clothespin is a labor of love that is the culmination of Gale’s career and her passion for creating beautiful clothing for women.
